Julia Vizental

Acute Care Division Coordinator

  • Undergraduate: Bachelors of Arts in Psychology with a Business minor, University of San Francisco

Julia joined the Bay Area Hospitalist team in 2014. She is responsible for the daily administrative tasks in support of the Medical Director and Operations Director.  She is essential to keeping the office running efficiently by supporting the BAHA team with billing, community physician communication, customer service, IT training, creating company advertising tools, and managing administrative operations. Her addition to our team is an integral part of our continued growth.

Before joining BAHA, Julia worked for the Registrar’s Office at University of San Francisco. She is well versed in FERPA, record keeping, transcript coordination, and customer service. In college she worked with Habitat for Humanity as an Organizational Development Analyst and assessed the viability of volunteer outreach program. Her strong skills include: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, GoogleDocs, Social Networking, Xtender, National Student Clearinghouse, Basic HTML, SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences), Citrix Access systems, and Prezi.

Growing up as an immigrant from the Ukraine, she loves meeting and talking to people of all backgrounds and cultures. She is currently working on her Masters of Public Health.

Julia is certified in CPR and First Aid through the American Red Cross, as well as in Rational Physician Coding for evaluation and management services through E/M University, and is a Notary Public for the State of California.
