Jeff Kerr

  • Undergraduate: BA in Psychology with an emphasis in Neuroscience, University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, WA.
  • Post-Baccalaureate: Pre-Medicine Program at Portland State University, Portland, OR.

While at the University of Puget Sound, Jeff conducted independent EEG research and presented results at the Association of Psychological Science conference in San Francisco. He also volunteered in various research and clinical environments, including an ADHD study at Oregon Health and Science University and at several hospitals in the Pacific Northwest. Realizing the brain’s interconnectedness with all of the body’s processes, he decided to further study neuroscience in a clinical context.

Jeff intends to pursue a medical degree, with specialization in neurology, psychiatry, or primary care. He hopes to use his future education to better serve low-income populations and those experiencing homelessness.

On the weekends, Jeff heads for the mountains on backpacking trips and enjoys exploring the natural environment through writing and photography.
