Raina Jain

  • Undergraduate: Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Concentration in Physiology, San Francisco State University

Raina, a BAHA medical scribe, aims to learn about healthcare as she prepares for medical school to fulfill her goal of becoming a Primary Care Physician. Raina believes that everyone should have access to the highest quality of healthcare. She was on the Board of Medicine and Education Development for Low Income Families Everywhere. Raina also actively participated on the brigade to Lima, Peru to provide medical aid to the impoverished population. She worked with the underprivileged local population to create infrastructure for the Peruvian community and communicated with them in Spanish. Enhancing health, wellness, patient care, safety, and communication is very important to her.

She has previously worked at Mills Peninsula Health Services, Silverado Assisted Senior Care Living with residents that have Alzheimer’s disease, Seton Medical Center, San Francisco General Hospital’s Patient Wellness Center to promote community outreach, and California Pacific Medical Center’s hospice and palliative care facility. 

Raina can speak English, Hindi, Spanish, Urdu, and Punjabi. She enjoys learning new languages and trying various cuisines.
