Anindita Chakrabarti

Dr. Chakrabarti is a Hospitalist as well as an Infectious Disease Specialist in San Francisco. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center and the Jesse Brown Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Chicago, IL. After residency she served as an academic hospitalist for a year at Northwestern Medical Center in Chicago. She subsequently completed her infectious disease fellowship at University of Miami Medical Center. As part of her fellowship training, Dr. Chakrabarti had the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, and has had significant experience with HIV/AIDS medicine as well as tropical medicine. She believes strongly in identifying barriers to care for each patient and providing excellent individualized care. She also has a passion for teaching and likes to incorporate resident and medical student education into her daily practice.

Dr. Chakrabarti is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is also certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and is a member of the American College of Physicians as well the Infectious Disease Society of America.
